OLD CAN BE ATTRACTIVE

Yesterday was the first time a pink top my aunt gave to me looked attractive. It had been with me for more than four years and I always saw it unfit to wear with anything. At a point I began to wear it in the wrong way but stopped because of conscience but yesterday was the first day I actually looked at my reflection and admired it. It looked so beautiful and fit to wear. Old can be as beautiful as ever, new may not. Don’t look down on old because of new,every new will one day be old.

THE ICE CREAM THEORY

I bought a large of bowl of ice cream two times and after eating so many of the flavors I loved so much I realized I had gotten tired of eating them. The painful part was it cost quite some to buy them, I love….ice cream but the bitter lesson I had to learn was; to really enjoy ice cream alone you have to take it little by little. So what is the ice cream theory, enjoy big things little by little so that the thrill does not vanquish. If I took ice cream in little quantities it would make me desire more and I spend less at that point but if I want the enjoyment all at once and buy a large one soon the coldness of the ice starts biting my tongue and the cream begins to start tasting too sugary. Enjoy the little bits of life ,funny or sad enough we might not get that big opportunity and even if it comes the thrill might be gone.
