REVIEW 2020

Preamble

This is the first major review on Deeperlook.

Last year, I simply did a brief review in the appreciation post but because of the uniqueness of this year for me and my plaforms, I am doing a seperate review post.

If you are new here, this will give you an overall view of this blog for this year.

I hope you enjoy reviewing with me ๐Ÿ˜Š

DEEPERLOOK

More posts were made this year and I tried to have at least two to three posts every month (was more than that).

The quarantine played a huge role in redirecting my focus and I am super grateful for that.

Today’s post is the 270th post with approximately 110 posts for this year.

I did two major series: CAVEWOMAN (5 parts) that ended with a short video and Blogmas 2 (25 parts).

This year, many books were shared. Some for purchase and others for free. They included:

  • A poetry collection
  • 1 short fiction
  • 1 collection of short stories
  • 1 updated collection of short stories
  • 1 non-fiction
  • 2 inspirational minis
  • 1 tract

The most popular download was the Non-fiction: 10 LESSONS FROM MY PARENTS.

To get more insight on all the books, you can check the BOOK SECTION for more information.

This year, the art section of this blog was created with options regarding digital or physical abstract arts.

Also, for the later half of this year, I created all the posters and images used for the posts written.

Previously, I used mainly images downloaded from the internet with few times making them. However this year, making the posters helped me to be more creative with the process.

Posters were also created and the most popular is Psalm 23 posters which you can find at the lower part of this page.

I did more experiments with my page and learnt much more.

Despite being a free site, I was able to learn many things over the years and I am so grateful for the process.

This year, the contact button was updated with a new section of this blog to become active soon and that is the section of book review for books that are not mine.

Currently, the book review section is for books I have written or shared but another section will be opened for books I have read that will be relevant to the tone of this blog.

If you are curious or interested, click the CONTACT button to find out more.

This year the stats were higher than last year, almost twice the number.

Plus I had my first overall 1000 likes and I celebrated my 6th year annivesary on this platform.

ROSECAST

This year, I was more consistent than previous years plus the podcast page was added to this blog.

The podcasts had a new feature included as well: Posters

There were three series done, each of them with subsequent parts as well.

I was more intentional with the podcasts and had a great time making them.

The listens for this year were approximately 5-8 times what I started with, with DON’T RUSH being the highest.

To check it out, simply click PODCAST PAGE to be redirected and to also get the main link.

There is a complimentary podcast which you can listen to via the Podcast page or directly through this LINK

MOVING FORWARD

I trust God to do better next year and to finally upgrade this blog platform.

Major changes to Rosecast may still take more time but I am willing to make more little changes.

I am hoping to still have you here in the next coming years and to have you experience more growth with me.

I chose to be grateful for the progress made even though I wished to have made more.

Your support on this platform means a lot and you can either do that by liking a post, commenting, sharing a post, subscribing or following this post and importantly, purchasing a book or artwork.

Your support means a lot and I really appreciate it in anyway it comes.

I pray to keep sharing posts that are insightful, inspiring, encouraging, educative and uplifting.

Cheers to a New year in advance ๐ŸŽŠ๐ŸŽ‰

God bless you……

N.B As from 1st January, the hash tag for this blog will change.
